Purchased to stream from my Canon XF-305 professional camcorder via the HDMI output of a MacBook Air using the Zoom software. All I did was plug it in and make sure Zoom sees the camera and audio and everything works. I've had webcam settings that gave me more trouble than this device. Due to the low price I was more than skeptical about how well the device would work, but it worked flawlessly for a 2 hour uninterrupted Zoom music concert and the Macbook Air connected to the internet via Wi-Fi. A great option if you need to use something other than a cheap webcam or phone to record video for a Zoom meeting.
