Why Clorox (owner of Burt's Bees) added titanium dioxide to their toothpaste. It is not needed as a dye. Titanium dioxide can affect the intestinal absorption of nutrients, overcome the intestinal barrier and impair the immune system. It is known that a small amount of toothpaste is swallowed every time the teeth are brushed, even if the user tries to spit regularly. I just don't trust companies that add these toxic ingredients to their products when they know better. Even if they are removed due to mass complaints, I will never regain that trust. I support independently operating companies from the very beginning; not after being pressured in a public forum.
