I was a bit skeptical at first but my son persuaded me to buy them for my 2012 Ram 1500. I installed them, set them to 7 and liked them. You need a small extension cord. d) Use 2 21mm sockets on the bottom) Reverse process Driver side: a) Don't worry if you find the gas tank is in the way b) Take out the two inner fenders/fender liner/wheel arch liner - 10mm Bolts (You will need to push in. c) Start with the upper shock bolt. d) Use only the goose foot - just slide it over the inner top nut. You don't have to try to work your way through the gas tank. Just climb to the top of the shock tower from the front. he is tight e) Use a 21mm socket for the top screw. When turning, the goosefoot gets stuck, so the bolt comes out. f) Use 2 heads 21mm for the bottom. g) Reverse the process. Note - assuming the houndstooth stays up - if you tighten the top screw it will go into the bracket. leave it there It remains on the bolt until the next shock absorber change. Just start on the driver's side when changing these shocks. A little frustrating because on the previous generation Dodge the engineers actually built something into the upper shock nuts so you didn't have to.
