These unpacked TV stands are great. But after 6 months of ownership I am disappointed. The wood is soft and shavings show very slightly light wood under a dark stain. But what worries me the most is that when you lift the tray to move it it collapses, the underlying mechanism isn't secured, nothing holds it together - it slides freely, folds and collapses. If you have items on the tray, they will land on the floor. makes angry! Most trays have a clip that holds the mechanism in place and prevents it from collapsing when moved.
