This spatula is perfect for many uses and I use it regularly. It's very thin and strong, springy and responsive, making it easy to slip under delicate foods as well as staples like scrambled eggs. I took off a star because a little less than a year later the seam between the handle and the blade started to leak and water was pooling in the handle. Victorinox replaced the item after some debate over the timing of the failure and sent it back over the holiday period. Found out that the "Lifetime Warranty" is only valid for one year. After that, replacing it will cost a little more than buying a new one, and if you're considering sending the old one back, it's obviously more economical to throw it away and buy a new one at that price. Update March 2014: A few months after the original. the spatula was replaced, the blade was loose in the grip again. Now it will continue to fill up with water in the dishwasher unless it's upside down, blade down. For a supposedly commercial instrument, this seems poorly done. I lowered my rating from 4 to 2. I would give it a 1 but still like how it works when the dirty dishwater isn't dripping off the handle.
