Review on Efficiently Track Your Body Composition with the Tanita RD-953 InnerScan PRO Body Composition Monitor by Robert Lee

I purchased this unit based on the reviews and the fact that Tanita offers both "professional" and "consumer" models . used to develop "professional" units flow into "consumer" units. Unfortunately, it's just junk that flows down the drain, as Tanita doesn't even support "consumer" devices past the 90-day warranty period. The electrodes on the top of this device stopped working, so I called tech support for resets, alternatives, etc. After exhausting all options (I'm tech savvy and have done online IT support) I asked for a quote and repair of the device. Nobody normally throws away a $200 tool. "Sorry, we don't even produce replacement parts for our consumer units." was the reply. I replaced it with a $30 Wyze device that is at least as accurate and is 1/8th the cost.
