This thing is LOUD. I mean REALLY LOUD! LOUDDER THAN CAPITAL LETTERS! But seriously, as long as this thing is in the PCIe slot, the tiny 20mm fan will ALWAYS run at 100% RPM. Although the card has a temperature sensor, there is no PWM function. It's also the BEST Quad HDMI card on the market. Uncompressed video and audio, 1080p+60 and it always works great. This makes it the biggest heartthrob and deal breaker on Amazon. Expect to hear this fan through any live mic up to 2 rooms away. Did they forget that thing is for media production? To make matters worse, I contacted Magewell with my complaints and they told me there was a hardware version with automatic fan control, but they didn't offer to sell it to me. I had to have my teeth pulled to get a serial number and there is no guarantee that every store will give me the correct number. To be honest I think they lied to me.
