I'm really surprised I didn't save a few bucks and bought the steel version but I'm glad I didn't. This aluminum saves more weight than I expected and the lighter weight means I'm more likely to use it. It folds easily and is the perfect angle and clearance for my SUV. However, be careful when transporting it as the end that goes into the receiver is quite sharp. Also include the price of a "clutch wrench" in the price if you don't already have one. I was going to post a link but the one I bought is no longer available and there are dozens of different brands here at Revain. It's not the device's fault, but anything you plug into the hitch's receiver will wiggle a bit (otherwise you'll have to cross your fingers and use a sledgehammer every time you plug or unplug something). greatly exaggerated by the light weight and width of these products. Order a clutch tensioner at the same time and save yourself a lot of trouble. Even an empty clutch will rattle if you don't use it, which is why I use mine quite religiously now.
