I had to extend an inexpensive 4 pin RCA connector. I was very wary of using a lower quality cable in combination with another brand and quality but I had no options. I am very happy to report that J&D Short RCA Extension Male and Female works perfectly. It's very flexible and it didn't introduce any noise into my audio system. Despite the docking of cables from two different brands with completely opposite price categories, everything worked out well. I highly recommend this J&D product. I can't comment on the durability, but I was happy with the quality, especially for the price.
