
I've read a lot of reviews and watched videos on YouTube - It seems some people can make decent cakes (I have no idea how). My first attempt followed the instructions in the letter, resulting in a cake with an overcooked crust and a raw top. I even tried using the parchment paper ring I cut out for the crust to prevent overcooking. This gadget is a complete letdown! It sat in the box for about a month before I decided to read the instructions again - that's when I read "pastry dough". So I made one last attempt at a "snap". last try before the official closure. and yeast dough goes better in it than normal cake dough. My pie was right next to the charred hot pockets the pie maker kept hitting. You might want to try choux pastry.
