This product does what I wanted it to do. I can attach it to a car vent and it will grab my phone with a magnet. It doesn't slip or fall. Small protrusions on the prongs help hold it in place. The magnet is pretty strong. My phone already had a metal part so I didn't use the one that came with it, but it looks the same. I like the fact that while the car mount is fairly secure, you can easily adjust the angle of the phone. It also sticks out of the vent more than some and blocks less air than other models I've had. The only thing that could be improved is that it's a bit fiddly to detach from the vent. You need to press hard on the part that separates the two pins and remember which one has the protrusion and tilt it in the right direction as you pull it out. But most people don't need to unplug it often, just leave it in place. There are two devices in the package and it is sold at around the price of one device from other sellers. So now I have a spare in case I need it. Good business. I've found that the best way to remove the magnet from the phone is to move it sideways (either up or down).
