Review on Scotty Post Bracket Sounder Mount by Kyle Awasthi

This bracket appears to be very strong and works well for flush mounting on a Scotty 244 deck. However, some important things to know before you buy: It was mentioned that it does NOT have a solid top as shown. It has a hollow top with multiple screw holes. (It wasn't important for my purposes, but if it's important to you, keep that in mind.) 2) Also, as another reviewer mentioned, don't expect this to work for your fish finder. It didn't even come close to my Eagle Cuda sonar. The holes are so far away it's ridiculous. I was finally able to get it working by buying a large, flat piece of plastic and screwing it onto this bracket. Then I had more surface area to screw the sonar mount onto. So in the end it all worked, but not without significant refinement on my part.
