Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I bought recently, there was firmware 2.4 when satellites were found, ated the firmware to 2.8, immediately downloaded a couple of maps, linked google earth, but when I picked it up, I lay down like a glove! In general, the purchase is 100% satisfied!

Pros
  • raster support, excellent reception, well-readable screen in the sun, unlike a communicator, easy map loading, ergonomics.
Cons
  • low screen resolution.

Just a terrible product, very upset.

Here is an example for another model, just be aware that the GARMIN company states: "FREE regular map and traffic ates for the life of the device" 3 years of ates are no longer and will not be! Normal, huh? !

Pros
  • None, after a month of torment and butting with the store and service center, and only after reaching the management managed to hand it over and return the money.
Cons
  • Big and heavy.

High-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

Tough of course with prices now, I bought it 5 years ago, new for 14k. ;-) Different pros: An excellent navigator, I have been using it for more than 5 years, so far I have not observed any freezes and various glitches, the accuracy is sufficient, the functionality is sufficient. Some cons: If you score a lot of points, then it is not very convenient, because. you have to scroll through each number manually, of course you can score from a computer, but there is rarely a computer at hand. This…

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

Garmin's price is inadequate, as well as other manufacturers of tourist navigators. For some reason, China does not climb into this market, but it's high time, because. the red price would be an analogue of $ 50-100, they would also screw the camera. Has pros: I chose it for fishing, it fully justifies itself, it reads directions (sea charts), it finds satellites quickly, it is waterproof and swims, it was checked in the boat when it sailed in the cockpit for a couple of hours. Holds a charge…

Quality of the product is at the level, I will recommend this product

It’s a pity that you can’t charge the batteries directly in yourself (but if you take out the batteries and connect it empty via usb, then it works fine). On the Internet you can find almost any accessory for it. When filling out an entry, it can be automatically archived. Could, like in GPSmap 30th, add glonass to it, it would not hurt. I did not find any push-button analogues for him in 2022. And you can praise, and there is something to scold. More precisely, to whom.

Pros
  • Unsinkability, operation from AA batteries, memory cards up to 32GB, the ability to download satellite maps of different formats (moreover, you can turn on several maps at the same time, indicating which map is on top and which one is below it). The presence of buttons (at low temperatures is relevant), and it’s difficult to accidentally press something. If desired, Russification can be altered for yourself, flexible settings for recording tracks. Connector for remote antenna GA25MCX, mini USB, 4-pin power port. The function of hiding tracks, archiving tracks. Choice of preset operating modes. Can take a screenshot of your screen in the form of a photo, you can then view it on your computer.
Cons
  • Heavy of course. The device is big, but the screen is small. Wireless data transfer only with compatible Garmin devices. The brightness of the display disappointed (there is Vista HCx, it is much brighter, although older), the screen is dim. The font is too big, a bit smaller and more information could be shown, and jambs with abbreviated and unfinished words would disappear. It takes a long time to load, especially if there are satellite images on the map.

The product suited me, I will recommend it to my friends.

This is already my second Garmin, which perishes in sea water. The device did not even fall into the water, it just lay on the deck of the kayak and was washed over by a wave. As a result, at the end of the day I found water in the battery compartment. Corrosion immediately went, which ate the contacts and the SD card located under the batteries. The device was under warranty. The store replaced it without any problems, which pleasantly surprised me. And yet: if you go to sea, it is better not…

Pros
  • Stability of work, ergonomics (buttons on top), the presence of a barometer and a built-in compass.
Cons
  • Although it floats, it is not 100% waterproof. Water seeps into the battery compartment and into the protected USB and external antenna connectors.

A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

I have long wanted to praise my assistant!)) I use for navigation. Sailing. Mostly in the Mediterranean, for now). The device, along with me, has already traveled in the waters of Greece, Croatia and Sicily. It has become my indispensable helper. Excellent rubberized waterproof case. Does not slip from slippery surfaces when the boat rolls. You can feel it in your jacket pocket. It is convenient to use when it is raining, wearing gloves and in general in extreme conditions. On the track it

Pros
  • Convenient, reliable, durable.
Cons
  • Small screen and screen resolution. But this is a plus. Eats less batteries, and this is much more important than a beautiful screen!

Wonderful navigation device

Before buying, I read the reviews and I have to say that I disagree with the hazel grouse regarding the operation of the device. Okay, not everything is intuitive, but the instructions are clear and easy to follow. You only need to learn a few commands to be able to cope with everything. I don't plan on testing it in the water as I don't think it's waterproof but would like to know just in case. I need a longer strap so I can wear it around my neck and maybe tuck it into the waterproof…

Pros
  • Swimmer, floating
Cons
  • I don't know anymore

4 years and strong gong

I've been using it in the field about 200 days a year since I got it a few years ago. I stick a protective film on it and change it once or twice a year. I use it every day for biological fieldwork, navigating 2.4km transects, marking data points, etc. It took me a while to get used to Basecamp and I still use Mapsource for some stuff for files , but the Garmin software is MUCH easier. as Delorme's stuff. I got a Delorme Earthmate PN-60w as a backup/spare when my old Garmin 76 broke and I found

Pros
  • Built-in 3-axis electronic compass; Barometric altimeter
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
