Seems to work when it wants to. When I .

Seems to work when it wants to. When I first got it I made sure it was charged before I used it. During my first outing it turned on and synced with my phone right away but the next day and every day since I have been able to get it to sync twice and it barely works now and says bobber out of water even though it still in the water.

Pros
  • works great for mapping water beds
Cons
  • The IBobber Pulse may be too expensive for some potential users, particularly those on a tight budget

Not impressed, just disappointed.

Not impressed. Works when it wants, shuts off intermittently, light only works when it wants and Bluetooth distance is only about 25 ft using my iPhone 6s, or my iPhone SE.

Pros
  • Love that we can now see where our fish are in our pond
Cons
  • I used one time will not work this product sucks don’t buy spend a little more get one that works

Shipping questionable but great product

We truly enjoy this product and recommend it for the Fisher in and out of the boat. The shipping was supposed to be deliver3d before Christmas and wasn't so I spent extra on it for nothing. I also asked for gift wrapping and that was worth it.

Pros
  • The app that comes with the IBobber Pulse is user-friendly, and allows you to save information on your catches, making it easy to track your progress over time
Cons
  • The latency between the device and the mobile app may be too long for some users, which could result in missed opportunities or inaccurate readings

Easy to use But. best in my review

I like to fish for crappie, not good for that type of fish medium fish and minnows/baby fish show up same size on the screen tested it in a bucket. But other than that depth is pretty close and easy to use.

Pros
  • The smart fish attractor feature of the IBobber Pulse helps increase the chances of catching fish by mimicking natural fish sounds and movements
Cons
  • Some users may find that the device is not durable enough to withstand repeated exposure to water, particularly in harsh saltwater environments

Not for shallower ponds.

Not very accurate. Does not work in shallower water. Gonna give it another chance in deeper water but for now I can't recommend this one. I had high hopes but not worth the money at this point.

Pros
  • The IBobber Pulse is durable and built to last, making it a great investment that you can rely on for many fishing trips to come
Cons
  • The IBobber Pulse may be too sensitive or inaccurate for users who prefer to use traditional fishing techniques

I bought an IBobber Pulse and honestly, it is amazing! I had spent a lot of time looking at reviews for fish finders for kayaks and this product kept showing up on several different sites as a great one to buy. I am impressed that it does what it’s suppose to and was easy to connect to my iPhone and Apple Watch.> We are also using it to get the lake depths and contours so we can build our dock. It’s a very versatile product and I will be sharing this great "find” with others.

Pros
  • I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a castable fish finder!
Cons
  • It does not work.

Great tool but has problems connecting

It was good for what it was it showed you the depth and temperature of the water which is a plus but I was having problems connecting to the iBobber, at times it connected when I wanted to sometimes it didn’t connect at all I ended up sending it back. As an inshore angler I think this is a great tool to use but they need to work out some bugs first, I really wanted to work so bad smh

Pros
  • I bought this for a gift for my husband and he loves it!!
Cons
  • The wireless connectivity may experience frequent interruptions, making it difficult to get consistent readings

Can't connect! on my review.

I was planning to go out fishing this coming weekend so I tried to get it prepped. Downloaded the APP, made an account and tried to connect via Bluetooth through "Ibobber app" and the darn thing could not connect. 30min of trying was enough. I wanted it to work and fun with what its capable of doing.it just wouldn't connect. Returned.

Pros
  • The smart technology in the IBobber Pulse eliminates the need for traditional fish finding equipment, saving you space and money
Cons
  • The device may not work well in extremely cold or hot temperatures, which could limit its usefulness in certain environments

Bought the in December 28 and finally got to use it about 3 weeks ago and it worked perfect. Went to go use it about 3 days ago and it was dead, so I used my portable charger to charge it and it instead of turning blue to charge it turned blue and started rapidly flashing green to where you can barely even notice it. I left it charging for about an hour and unplugged it and about 1 second after taking it off the charger it immediately started flashing green again. I won't let me connect or do…

Pros
  • works great outs me right on top of the fish
Cons
  • Some users may find the process of setting up the IBobber Pulse to be overly complicated or time-consuming

Don't waste your money

This item would not maintain connection and tends to think everything is a fish. Went to cast out and it snapped my line, lost for good. Would not recommend anyway.

Pros
  • Marine Electronics
Cons
  • The device may be prone to malfunctioning after extended periods of use, which could be frustrating for frequent anglers

Doesn’t seem to work

Hard to tell how accurate it is or if the pulse actually attracts fish. Left it in the water with the pulse on for a couple hours after it "detected” fish but no hits/bites. Used both live and artificial baits with no results. Only really use it for water temps.

Pros
  • Car & Vehicle Electronics
Cons
  • The IBobber Pulse may be difficult to read in bright sunlight, which could make it hard to get accurate readings

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Mediocre for the money

Disconnects constantly. I've used it multiple times and I don't think I've ever gotten a full bottom reading while reeling back in because it disconnects in the middle of it. I gave it 3 stars because when it sits still and is close to whatever it's connected to it works fine. Don't expect anything spectacular but for an entry level unit it does an alright job.

Pros
  • The IBobber Pulse is extremely easy to use, making it a great option for both seasoned and novice fishermen alike
Cons
  • The device may be too loud or disruptive, which could scare away fish or make it difficult to enjoy a quiet fishing experience

Great concept but wont stay connected

Overall great concept and want to love the iBobber BUT>>>>PROS -- great concept- size- battery life- ease of use- works best in water 5ft or deeperCONS -- loses connection every 45 seconds- every time connection drops you have to reset the options like the light, fish alarm, pulse- in less than 5 ft it goes nuts depth readings will range from actual depth to 100tf+ and will show fish everywhere since most bank / creek fishing is in less than 20ft of water (at least for me)…

Pros
  • Good but always scared to cast 120 bucks into the water lol
Cons
  • The device requires an iOS or Android device to use, which could be a barrier to entry for some potential users

Miracle to fisherman

So I am a avid fisherman with no boat to my name. So I am stranded on a dock not knowing what ls around me. With the Ibobber I am able to tell where the fish are located, the depth and temperature. I would be fishing on the docks for weeks without catching a thing. I used the Ibobber and caught a perch which I didn't even know was in the lake. Exactly 3ft below the surface thanks to the Ibobber

Pros
  • Fish Finders & Depth Finders
Cons
  • Some users may find that the device is difficult to attach securely to their fishing line, which could result in lost equipment
