Was very surprised at how good they were. I ended up taking 3 of these and built a 1500w amp on top of them. It sounded very good, I was surprised. It doesn't win a competition, but I was content until I could afford high-end speakers.

Right out of the box, this sub worked once for testing purposes. I wrapped it up and made a custom box. Installed and after 3 songs it's dead. No I didn't push too hard either, I made a custom box, used air specs for the subwoofer and it died almost immediately.

Bought 2 years ago and connected to a 1000w Sony Xplode, half rotated, direct connection with no crossover. Both burned out due to burning out of the built-in biwires. Very badly done. They look heavy and strong in the photos, but they definitely aren't. If you smell burnt, it's most likely the speakers.

I love this subwoofer. It works great in both Home and Auto settings. The advantage of the double voice coil is that I can get the maximum out of the subwoofer without using too much power from the car battery. In addition, coils can withstand fairly high temperatures for a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely recommend this to my friends as well.

Like the price. i love color There was a professional installation and a speaker exploded. Tested by technition and the good one was straight into 4 ohms. the other read at 17 ohms. something was filmed. I have ordered another one. Hope it lasts longer than 3 weeks. The one that still works sounds good on its own, so I'm not sure the other bad one ever worked. Please let me return or get a refund.

This is a great replacement for factory systems, but it won't handle the wattage it's advertised on. This subwoofer was meant to replace an old 8" radio shed, 50W RMS, 100W max. Less than a month later it died and the RS speaker is back. The first night I installed Pyle it kind of smelled. Then the rubbing the voice coil. Less than a month later me and a friend decided to see how much power was going into it and it died. Only about 200 watts in 30 seconds. Sad day no we're almost 600 watts!

PYLE That's right, I wouldn't even waste your time or money, I've blown up in a day and 1/2 on my 3rd each. 1 blue plwb84 never appeared. So they sent another 3 weeks later with first class delivery, I received it and worked for a day and 1/2 did the same as the others plbw84! Update: Today I'm reducing the star rating to 1. The speaker no longer works. Check all connections to eliminate other possible causes before blaming the speaker. I guess I should have bought the old version I had before. They have endured many hard years in my work cart. This has lasted a little over a month since installation. This is my second purchase of the same size and model. The first returned on June 2, 2016, who eventually died. A lifespan of almost 3 years is not bad for a speaker in this price range. I bought this speaker to test it. I currently have an 8" SVC 4 ohm 600 watt subwoofer in a small cabinet in my truck. I'm planning to install 2 subwoofers and wanted to see if it's worth the money.
