Bought 2 years ago and connected to a 1000w Sony Xplode, half rotated, direct connection with no crossover. Both burned out due to burning out of the built-in biwires. Very badly done. They look heavy and strong in the photos, but they definitely aren't. If you smell burnt, it's most likely the speakers.
