Hello everyone. It's you, your favorite technical data checker. I ordered this product to use with my Google Pixel Slate tablet. So first for the bad. That doesn't look that impressive. Looks and feels a bit cheap. Also the magnetic connection is not very strong. A little tug on the cable, and it immediately comes loose. Which I think makes sense, right? Now there is one more thing that can be considered negative or positive depending on how you want to use it. It's a bit awkward. I use it with a tablet case so it works really great. I don't have to take my tablet out of the case to connect it to my workstation. So this works for me. If you're looking for something more subtle and discreet, magnetic charging adapters may not be for you. Yes, I was talking about the workstation. Using one of these devices, I was able to magnetically connect my Pixel Slate to 2 HD monitors, an external hard drive, a full keyboard, a mouse, a printer, and two Koss speakers. Basically I connected all these things to the dock. I use a USB-C cable to connect the dock to my tablet and adding this magnetic adapter hasn't slowed things down at all! Charging is also not significantly slowed down with this adapter. This extended a full charge by 5 minutes from empty compared to using the factory cable. To be honest I would give this product 5 stars, it's a great product for the price but the magnet strength and the look/feel factor are a bit disappointing. Hope that helps. Enjoy shopping.
