Poorly made part
I was very skeptical about buying a transfer case motor from Amazon. The installation is very easy. My service 4wd caught fire because of the engine. At first I thought wow I will definitely be buying another part from this company the lights went out and I changed every gear and it worked. The first time I got stuck in the mud and went down to 4 low the car switched back to 2wd. I removed the motor and found that the gear inside was skipping gears when powering the motor. Motor died 3 months after first use. And the 2-month return window is over. I would strongly recommend finding a better transfer case motor.
