It's more of a summer model for camouflage than insulation, but I've taken it on hunting trips in 40 degree weather with light winds and it's stood the test. The tail is tucked into the coat and does not detach, exposing the neck. The MultiCam is passable against US Woodland, but a darker "all-terrain" pattern (as advertised) would fare much better. My head is a little lighter than anything! I don't know if it was a bug or if "desert camouflage" is actually something else? Considering the price and what I got it seems to be an 80% match (correct colors, too light) and a 90% match (slightly different colors but darker), I shouldn't waste time on this, to fix it. Of course it would have been nice to get what I ordered instead of an acceptable alternative.
