Promising design with a possible flaw

This phone holder lasted me at least a month. Keeping the phone in the back pocket has ruined some good pants. With this band in the form of a "necklace" there is no such problem. But there is one spot where the rubberized loop connects to the metal clasp above the phone; This loop broke when something hit my phone and pulled on the strap. I want the maker to reinforce the material in the loop.
