The platform is a good size and easy to assemble. I have to come up with something, for example a ramp, or hope that my hamster can climb in without one. The manufacturer obviously wasn't thinking when assembling this part. Glue will seep wherever the dowels attach to the sides. For an item meant for small animals that are likely to chew on it, this glue is literally a killer. If the glue itself is not toxic, it will cause constipation if eaten. It's also not stable when placed on a platform as it doesn't mount straight. Two stars only because the platform is really well made, but because half of the item is so poorly made and an absolute hazard with the way it's sold, it's a flop.
