Great bag but doesn't look like the original

I had an earlier version (1.0) and gave it away so I bought the 2.0. In general the bag is excellent. If I didn't have 1.0 I would give it 5 stars. I'm not interested in small details. I use this for my EDC bag and work in an office so it influences my look for the bag. First, I carry a bottle of water with me at all times. The 1.0 water bottle holders had a small D-ring on the side that I grabbed to open the bag. Not with 2.0. On the 1.0, the water bottle pocket was made from a durable bag material. Model 2.0 is just a stretchy garment that I find wears out quicker. The Model 1.0's concealed carry case had a zippered pocket into which a plate of body armor could be inserted. If you didn't use it for the armor plate, you can use the pocket for other items. The 2.0 has a hook and loop fastener at the bottom for inserting protective vests. This prevents it from being used for other purposes. On the 1.0 model, the zippers in the main and hidden areas had metal pull tabs with a pull tab for the laces. Version 2.0 has only string tongues. In my opinion, the 2.0 opens and closes a little less smoothly due to the lack of metal tabs. Overall the bag is still great but it seems like they want to try to reduce the cost by removing small details.
