VW "Tactical " Backpacks

This bag looks solid and shows decent craftsmanship. This is for professionals. The pack tries too hard to be too much, so they're not very good at anything. This is a very flat bag. With laptop and laptop you almost run out of space. The lack of a sunglass pocket is ridiculous. The left-hand pocket and zip system are NOT designed for everyday suburban use. The body armor pouch has a Velcro bottom that folds into the deepest part of the back of the pack, making changing padded panels a real…

Great features, layout and organization... A few minor points are missing.

Pros: Plenty of organized pockets in most compartments. Lots of great features that can be overlooked such as hydration tube holes, belly buckle storage holes, hand thru holes and a front carry handle. The water bottle compartments are large and hold very securely, and the molle panel is great for tactical use, which is what you might be looking for this backpack for. Cons: A bit heavier than I expected and the main compartment can get very tight if you pack other compartments. When the two…

Great bag but doesn't look like the original

I had an earlier version (1.0) and gave it away so I bought the 2.0. In general the bag is excellent. If I didn't have 1.0 I would give it 5 stars. I'm not interested in small details. I use this for my EDC bag and work in an office so it influences my look for the bag. First, I carry a bottle of water with me at all times. The 1.0 water bottle holders had a small D-ring on the side that I grabbed to open the bag. Not with 2.0. On the 1.0, the water bottle pocket was made from a durable bag…

Good if you really need special functions

Pictures: All photos of Sig Rattler in the secret compartment. It bulges out a bit from the main compartment, but I can still fit a 15 inch laptop in with room. I bought the Sierra High Backpack from Costco and compared it to this Vertx Ready Pack 2.0. For my needs, High Sierra worked just as well and was $40 instead of $150 for Vertx, so I returned Vertx. Here are the things that set this backpack apart from most others: - Quick release main compartment pull tab - Dedicated concealed carry…

Good backpack, a few tricks prevent it from fitting in completely.

This is a good college bag. I haven't been able to find any other reviews on this from this point of view. Also, I'm pro-gun and I'm 100% sure that what I say below isn't breaking any laws. So please leave me alone. The bag is well made. The organization is great and I love the see through inner pockets. I feel like there's plenty of room for stationery, and the smaller exterior pocket is deep enough to accommodate chargers without blocking the admin compartments. I can load in my laptop…
