It is very easy to assemble, also a screwdriver is included in the kit. Once put together, it fit my 22lb 1 year old nicely. She felt very comfortable and for the first time she didn't cry while eating and ate everything that was on her plate. The footrest is crucial to good body support and the purchase proved that. It's not the best option I'd say, but it's also more than half the price of some of the fancier highchairs with adjustable footrests. In general very satisfied! Cons: Harness length difficult to adjust due to non-removable harness covers, tray doesn't move as close to baby as other high chairs, delivery took almost a week longer than originally promised.
