Review on 🦷 Enhance Your Oral Health with Philips Sonicare HealthyWhite Electric Toothbrush, HX6731 by Michele Turner

Excellent except for a few brushing modes

Sonicare toothbrushes are great and leave your teeth cleaner than ever. It is great. The heads are thin and easily interchangeable. The build quality is high and the battery lasts a long time. I can work 1-2 weeks on a single charge (brushing twice a day and typically 2 full cycles of 2 minutes on each brush, so around 8 minutes of work per day). However, I wish they had made one of those ones that had a single on/off button. It has three modes: (1) Clear, (2) Sensitive, and (3) Clear and White. They are all very similar, just different impulses (which I think are almost indistinguishable). The problem is that they are all programmed for a single toothbrush button. So you have to press the button several times to turn it off. In other words, when you're ready to clean the brush, press the button to turn it on, it buzzes and you're done. Then, when you're ready to quit, usually (if you're in my skin) with a gulp of toothpaste and drool running onto the toothbrush handle and making it slippery while brushing, you have to press the button once to switch into mode 2, then again to switch to mode 3, then AGAIN to turn it off. It's annoying. I don't need multiple modes. I just want him to brush his teeth. To switch on and off. But, unfortunately, such a structure does not exist. I think Philips believes that multiple modes make a product better or more valuable, but they don't matter and instead sometimes frustrate the use of the product. That's why I have to give this toothbrush a full star. Other than that, it's amazing.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • No power
