or poor quality product

I bought this toothbrush and it broke in less than 2 years. One fine day it just stopped working, like some kind of chain suddenly snapped. Reloading didn't help. So I asked Philips and they sent me a replacement toothbrush. Guess it's the same again. Less than 2 years after receiving a replacement toothbrush, it suddenly stopped working again. Exactly the same scenario. This made me strongly suspect that Philips intentionally built in "planned obsolescence" to make their product stop working…

Excellent except for a few brushing modes

Sonicare toothbrushes are great and leave your teeth cleaner than ever. It is great. The heads are thin and easily interchangeable. The build quality is high and the battery lasts a long time. I can work 1-2 weeks on a single charge (brushing twice a day and typically 2 full cycles of 2 minutes on each brush, so around 8 minutes of work per day). However, I wish they had made one of those ones that had a single on/off button. It has three modes: (1) Clear, (2) Sensitive, and (3) Clear and…

Great toothbrush for almost 5 years!

I bought this toothbrush about five years ago and it has been great! wife uses it too. We use Diamond Clean brush heads and they do a great job of cleaning your teeth thoroughly. My only complaint is that after four or five years we both had brush head separation issues. It vibrates loudly and harshly to the point where we can't stand it anymore and end up having to buy a new toothbrush. I've been using Sonicare toothbrushes for about 15 years and this seems to be an issue with newer models…

Flash those pearly whites!

so surprisingly perfect. My teeth are so happy. :) If I could choose one thing to end up on a desert island it would be Sonicare. Damn, no electricity! Well if you are lucky enough to have electricity this toothbrush is a must have. Serious! It cleans your teeth and gum line like nothing else. This new model is a nice improvement over my old Sonicare model. The thinner handle feels better in the hand and the charging station is dirt-resistant. there are no gaps that can get dirty over time…

Will only work until out of warranty

A lot of money spent on a product designed to wear out near the end of the warranty. Bought a toothbrush in early 2016, after about 22 months of ownership (24 months warranty) made a warranty claim and immediately sent a new device. Now, a little over two years (26 months) later, the replacement has the same shutdown and charging issues. I will never buy a Phillips electric toothbrush again.

Great while it lasted

I bought this healthy white toothbrush 45 months ago and it passed away today. I definitely felt the difference in cleaning. I have never used both speeds to clean. Usually stick to one. Up until these last few months, it seemed like the charge lasted a week. I'm not too upset as I think I've benefited from it up until the last few months. It was great for travel as I could easily take it apart and put it away. On the other hand, the case didn't always stay closed and I had to replace it and…

Super clean feeling!

This is probably one of the best purchases I have made in the last 5 years. At first I wasn't sure if I needed this toothbrush, I just went to the dentist and two dentists saw me and started teaming up to tell me I have periodontitis and that I need to buy their $800 toothbrush , and I had to pay $400 for treatment beyond that. Shocked by this, I felt extremely embarrassed and looked for another dentist to get a second opinion. However, that's when I started to get interested in electric…

Beginner Intensive

I always use a standard toothbrush, which my dentist often gives after each appointment. The dental office has been mentioning Sonicare for quite some time, but I just couldn't get past the price tag of a toothbrush, no matter the features it had. But after reading what these things can do compared to my brushing technique (I'm not the best at flossing either), I thought I'd start looking into it. for some time (kept in the wishlist and looked at the price). A recent amazon.com coupon dropped…

I never thought that a toothbrush would interest me so much.

I was a bit reluctant to spend $100 on a toothbrush. My previous toothbrush investment was an Oral B Precision which sells for almost $50 and was actually WORSE than the Vitality I owned before the Precision which sells for $20 less. I was afraid of being disappointed with Sonicare like I was disappointed with Oral B Precision. The Oral B Precision not only brushed worse than the Vitality, it licked, stank and collected burnt dirt along the base. I had a friend visiting who had positive things…
