Review on 🦷 Enhance Your Oral Health with Philips Sonicare HealthyWhite Electric Toothbrush, HX6731 by Mary Cole

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I never thought that a toothbrush would interest me so much.

I was a bit reluctant to spend $100 on a toothbrush. My previous toothbrush investment was an Oral B Precision which sells for almost $50 and was actually WORSE than the Vitality I owned before the Precision which sells for $20 less. I was afraid of being disappointed with Sonicare like I was disappointed with Oral B Precision. The Oral B Precision not only brushed worse than the Vitality, it licked, stank and collected burnt dirt along the base. I had a friend visiting who had positive things to say about Sonicare, so I threw caution to the wind and invested in Phillips Sonicare HealthyWhite and WOW! My only regret is not buying Sonicare sooner. What a difference from all Oral B. It seemed a little strange at first, but very strange. This is a strange pulsing vibration that initially causes a tingling sensation. The vibration toggles from time to time to remind you to switch quadrants and after 2 minutes (for clear settings. 2.5 minutes for clear and white) it just turns off to let you know you are done. When I finished brushing my teeth for the first time, I was amazed at how clean my mouth was and how much foam came out of my mouth. I brush with toothpaste, but it doesn't foam as much as when I use clay. I floss regularly and frequently and think my mouth is clean, but now after four days of using Sonicare I realize my mouth wasn't as clean as I thought it would be. However, NOW I'm sure it's as clean as can be. I wake up in the morning after a long night and haven't even tasted the whiff of the morning breath. The design is also perfect. Slim and no leaks. It also comes with a cap that fits over the head to protect it when not in use. So now bacteria in the air can't infect the head when it's charged. It also comes with a travel pouch which is very handy. I can't imagine ever going back to any brand of toothbrush other than a toothbrush. So yes, it's expensive, but worth it.

Pros
  • Oral care
Cons
  • Very expensive
