The original threads are much larger, so they go very freely in the hole, which is also a rod and hull hole. achor too, so it just won't work. You don't have to worry about returning it since shipping costs almost as much as a new device location. Also the wires are not protected and they are SHORT. The originals have about a foot of wire when tucked under the seat. they are about 4 inches. So to make them fit I basically have to make a grommet to take up the extra space, then solder an extra 10" of wire between the lights and terminals, and then shrink the whole thing in. Never buy from this brand, they suck.
