Review on Nobsound Little Bear FU32(832A): Enhanced Vacuum Tube Headphone Amplifier for Impeccable HiFi Stereo Sound Experience by Edward Mcnamara

The ONE Little Bear amplifier from Douk Audio is a very pleasant surprise. The physical quality and weight are amazing for such a small device. Square footage is defined by a high-quality ceramic tube socket that holds the vacuum tube of a GU-32 twin-beam tetrode and three thick, perfectly labeled circuit boards separated by massive spacers and even larger Allen head screws. The LED lighting from bottom to top is a tasteful orange/amber colour, enhancing the warmth and interesting looks of the sophisticated GU-32 lamp. It's a warm and accurate tone that's more than adequate for any pair of headphones in today's open office environment. I like the sound very much with both open and closed headphones (Beyer Dynamic and others). It is very surprising that this small amp is quiet. There is no audible hiss, squeak or pop when adjusting the volume from zero to maximum when the source input is connected. This audio gem even has a short soft start mode and high and low outputs. It's musically engaging and great for starting a conversation on any desk. A NOTICE. The tube cage is missing. "Ears" on this bear's GU-32 will definitely be the weak point when it comes to breaking, so be careful with that!
