This is good but they will not work with a more modern tie for a young man. I bought this for my son who is 19 and wears suits all the time. The clip is visible on his ties, which shouldn't be. They are visible on a more modern tie that is narrower than a regular tie. See the photos I posted here. The bracket measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Also, you must remember to wipe them after use, otherwise your fingerprints or sweat will stain them. I wish they were made with a narrower clip that clung to the button.
