Ideal for large wounds that require sterile gauze and a sports bandage. I injured my thumb on a table saw and covered the area with gauze, but after a while the gauze stuck to the wound (even if I had applied antibiotic cream beforehand. I had to use running water and pull very slowly. Honestly, it was more painful than the injury itself! By using these non-adherent dressings, the gauze stopped sticking to my wound and I was able to remove the gauze immediately! What a god!
