No toy! Better than it looks Great radio
Appearances can be deceiving. This little thing looks like a 1970's transistor radio. I almost wrapped it up and sent it back before testing. What an amazing little radio! Using 4 AA batteries, it picks up transmitters better than my wired receiver. My favorite feature is the red light that comes on when the station is at peak power. It has a tuning knob for AM/FM so selecting a station can be a chore, but the red light will help you find the right spot. Good sound. Amazing reception. Even without the antenna extended, this thing picks up stations like crazy. I'm totally amazed. The flashlight isn't the brightest, but I don't intend to
