I had the dual flush retrofit version of this competitor's kit and overall I like it better. It's easier to install and more intuitive to save water. In addition, the flush in this case is much more reliable, and the 1/2 flush is more efficient. That being said, I have two minor gripes: (1) You must already have a conventional overflow pipe and gasket in the tank, or you must install one. I no longer had it because a competitor's version completely replaced this part. Not a big deal as it's a $7 part that's easy to install, but you have to know what you're getting into. (2) The way you install the main part is a bit strange and seems to be problematic over time. A large round cylinder with a blue gasket fits over the existing gasket and is simply tied to the overflow pipe. It is only held there by a zipper and the pressure of a rubber grommet that you put on the overflow pipe. If you don't install it properly to create a perfect seal, you will end up with micro leaks and then phantom flushes. I had trouble with one of the two blocks I bought to get it seated properly. Having everything installed after several reinstalls and reconfigurations it seems to have held up for the past few days but I'm pretty sure it will eventually loosen up and start leaking again. The design could be better there.
