The overall width is advertised as 19.25 inches but it was only after assembling it that I realized there was only 14 inches of space under the stand for the keyboard. My keyboard is 17 inches - too bad! Now it takes up a lot of space on my desk which is unusable now. Well, now I've moved everything to one end of my desk and can partially slide the keyboard diagonally underneath. - not what I meant, but I have more space on the center table to lay out papers etc.
