Suitable for connecting SAS drives. no data dropout during data transfer. Works with Broadcom/Avago/LSI Mega RAID SAS 9361-8i and Seagate and WD. The best transfer I've had is a 2GB/s compressed data stream without RAID with backups. Average data transfer rate 400-800 MB/s. On average on a RAID 5 I wouldn't say anything wrong with that. I bought some shielded SAS cables but don't see much performance gain.
