It's great that cables are included in the kit. it would be MUCH better if they worked.

My order arrived a day early and was great. So I got excited and plugged everything in, turned on the power and nothing from the mics. Since the mics, cables, mixer, and amp were brand new, I spent hours troubleshooting. Both of my instruments worked perfectly, but nothing I tried picked up the sound from the mics. The next day I took the mic and cables to my local music store, tested several configurations, and replaced both cables. With the same success they could not send them. Now that I have good cables I'm generally happy with the mics and stands, although one of the stands may have a loose nut (more issues will be found when I get home today).
