I had to extend the cable between the PC and the LCD projector up to 25 feet to be able to use it in a conference room. I originally used DVI. The results of the new 1080P projector were disappointing - the image was sometimes smeared, pixels were sometimes shifted to the right, resulting in jagged vertical lines: digital noise. I switched to HDMI hoping another interface might have less noise. No fun. As an engineer, I knew what I needed: a circuit to clean up and re-digitize the signal before it was sent to the LCD. Then I found this product. He did exactly what I wanted. It uses the power of the HDMI channel to receive, clean and re-sync weak signals before sending them to the projector. The results were fantastic. Installation took about 10 seconds to unplug the HDMI cable from the projector and plug in the cable. The picture was immediately deleted. Amazed at the low price. I was expecting to pay a few hundred dollars to fix what I thought might be a rare problem. While I've used this on a PC for a 1080P projector, it's more likely to be used with a cable or satellite TV box for an LCD projector or TV. It should work just as well in those applications. If you have a long HDMI cable and are experiencing uneven vertical lines, this is the product for you.
