After paying $20 for a sponge at a department store I was stunned and happy to find this set of multiple sponges. They do the job they're supposed to, although for some things you don't have precise brush control and I need a flat part, so trim it off with scissors. It works great, I was even able to use the cut piece for small jobs. I also like that I can dedicate each color to a specific job and there are no overlaps, plus I still have backups if I want a completely clean color. I had no trouble washing them, but I expect them to fail eventually. For now - frequent use for a few months - I don't see any signs of deterioration.
