Review on Stay Chic And Protected: Septangle Women'S Mid-Waist Swim Bottoms With UPF 50+ by Ryan Garrison

Not chlorine-resistant, so they don't hold up well

I bought these in April (2022) for aquatic therapy. I'm disabled, and gravity doesn't get along well with my body, so I need to do my exercises in a heated pool.Within the first two weeks of wearing these swim capris, a seam popped in the crotch. Since there's a built-in panty underneath the outer layer, I was able to keep wearing them, but the seam has opened up quite a bit since then. It's November (2022) and, having worn these swim bottoms for an average of once a week for seven months, they have lost their elasticity. They're fine at the waist, but instead of being snug against my legs like swim capris are supposed to be, they're now loose enough to flutter in the water. They've become discolored, too.So wearing these swim capris once a week for gentle exercises in the pool for less than a year and they're ripped in the crotch, hanging loose around my calves, and discolored in spots.I wouldn't count on these to survive anything too "extreme," or in the long-term in general. They could work for you if you only need a suit for a vacation though.

Pros
  • Using these pants for fall and winter in the pool in FL
Cons
  • May be too tight around thighs
