DO NOT follow the Capezio size chart!

I'm very angry now! On Friday I found out that my 3 year old daughter is on the waiting list for ballet and tap classes starting tomorrow. I ordered them on Friday using Capezio's size chart. My daughter wears an 8 US and the chart says to order a 7. OK, the diagram is WRONG. These shoes are NOT equal to 8 US. You are too small! I should have ordered 8! I'm so pissed. I have no way of getting another order for your lesson. I'm having trouble figuring out where to go locally to get what I need for them. This is very frustrating and disappointing. And DANGEROUS because without their "helpful" chart I would have ordered the right size! And guess what? The same story with ballerinas. I'm not happy at all. Edit to add: I found a place nearby and ended up buying a size 9 for my daughter. I found that Capezio's size chart is literally backwards. The "Manufacturer Size" column must indicate Capezio's shoe size and the "US" column must indicate the child's size in regular shoes. The data for the columns will be swapped! In the chart "manufacturer size" "kid 7" equals "US" size 8, which means buy a Capezio toddler size 7 if your child wears other US size 8 shoes. But the chart should be just the opposite, as the Capezio sizing should be a full size larger than the general US sizing. I really don't care what else is written in the description or reviews. THE MANUFACTURER'S SIZE CHART SHOULD BE ACCURATE. Looks like they literally mixed up the column labels! What is this amateur bull? Who printed their own size chart? to EPIC. It's so annoying. And I will never order dance shoes online again. It only costs $4 more to buy the same pair of shoes from the Re Dancewear Store and they make sure the shoes fit properly. It's worth every penny not to relive this mess.
