I bought two of these for our barrel sauna so that people have a little more ground contact and feel a little warmer, especially in winter. There is no way it can hold the stated weight. I would never let a normal sized kid stand on top of two, at least I did. Again we have these for the footrests and they are amazing footrests. They look beautiful and fit perfectly into the sauna interior, but I would never call it a "step stool" in a million years. I think it's better to call it step stool than step stool because after 1 step and a broken ankle you can never use it again.
