The lining has frayed in a few spots after a year of use but for the price this is a fantastic bag. It looks great and I get lots of compliments. Shoulder straps have no seams in the middle. It looks very nice, but the foam inside the strap keeps rippling. I have an awl for sewing leather and thick materials so I fixed it but it doesn't look as pretty as the factory stitch. as a personal item when I fly. Looks great with many types of clothing. I still have an 8 year old 17" Macbook Pro that I sometimes have to slip in my bag and it fits, but barely and probably won't affect the life of the zipper much. I bought a leather backpack in Florence, Italy, a city famous for its leather goods, and found similar bags that cost three times as much at leather markets. Maybe they were of better quality, maybe not. I am happy with my purchase.
