This duvet is beautiful and not too heavy - I feel very comfortable. This is the ideal weight for now (fall) through spring in Southern California. I use it with a microfiber duvet cover and it's a bit warmer than I need right now, but I suspect when winter comes it will be perfect! I hate air conditioning or heating when I'm sleeping so my duvet needs to be perfectly balanced. So far, so good. It will probably be too warm here for the summer, but that's ok, I'll switch to a light polyester blanket then. The only small minus for me is the noisy springs. some people like it. I'm neutral and I think it will settle down with use. If not, I could get in trouble. Just take a look.
