If you are looking for a casual belt then this is not for you. The buckle is too wide to fit through the belt loops of most non-tactical pants. And even if they are, it's compression. But otherwise I love the belt. The closure and design make it as comfortable as it is durable. Virtually impossible to break as you can use this harness as your only tether when climbing.
