I bought this lamp in May 2019. She died in less than 2 years. It worked great when I first got it and the aquarium lighting was so good. Concerned about saving electricity, I decided to buy an LED bulb instead of an incandescent bulb. Although it was more expensive, I felt the energy savings were worth it, and because it lasts so much longer, I don't have to change bulbs often. The grid slowly began to fade. Our light was only on during the day and off at night. If we talk about the approximate usage of 2 years, 12 hours a day, then that means I've accumulated about 4400 hours. An average LED bulb should last around 30,000 hours. Not much time since I got out of here. The light display is nice, and if you're okay with changing it often, it's worth buying. Otherwise it's not worth the extra money.
