🐠 UEETEK E27 LED Energy Saving Lamp: The Perfect Fit for Fish Pod and Fish Box Aquariums (White) Review

Made my fish tank look nice but I can only wear it 5-6 hours a day because of the algae it causes. Update: I couldn't take it. After 5-6 months I replaced it with a 15 watt bulb. My algae problem is gone, my aquarium is no longer green.

The light can be switched on after screwing in the lamp so as not to dazzle the fish with direct light, it doesn't heat up like the lamp he replaced , and consumes much less energy than the ones we had before. There is enough light for our 5 liter aquarium. There is nothing I can fault or improve on this product.

All I can say is WOW! I unpacked the bulbs and was very intrigued that after screwing them into the base they could be rotated to set them in the right position. Great idea. But when I flipped the switch on my 10-gallon tank, all I can say is incredible. I feel like I have a new aquarium and fish and plants. The light is clear, bright and clean. I just love it. The light from this lamp is a beautiful white color but seems too bright for a 10 gallon aquarium. The algae grew like crazy! I didn't know the light rotated (because I didn't read the instructions) so you can rotate it so it bounces off the hood so it's less intense. Much less algae growth now! I gave four stars because the first of these bulbs I bought burned out pretty quickly. Have bought more.

I have been using this bulb for 9 months now to light a small predator terrarium which also has a few Dendrobium Orchids, Selaginella, Ferns, various mosses and more has Anubias nana that make everyone impressive. The orchids are now touching the screen cover and will need to be removed soon, but when I received them about 6 months ago they were only about 1 inch. Pros: A 5w bulb was perfect for my 10 gallon tank. Excellent quality of light, LOVE the ability to rotate the bulb to provide indirect lighting. The bad news: According to my wattmeter, that single bulb uses 30 watts! The bulb itself may only be 5 watts, but the part inside that converts AC to DC for use by the LEDs uses electricity! This lamp is perfect for my guppy aquarium. My plants are happy and the light quality is great. I like that it can rotate but I haven't used this feature yet. I hate replacing Aquairum bulbs with fluorescent bulbs and was thrilled when I found the LED bulb. I bought this lamp in May 2019. She died in less than 2 years. It worked great when I first got it and the aquarium lighting was so good. Ordered 2 of these at the end of December 2017. It's December 1st, 2018 and one of the bulbs died a week ago. I thought LEDs would last a lot longer, but oh well. I wanted to bring out the dead and found a rusty mess. The LED assembly just fell out of the screw body and dangled from the wires. I cut the wires to make room for the work of pulling the housing out of the gas cap connector, but the metal is so cheap it just snapped when I pulled and twisted it with pliers, even with the largest one
