, I have a big rug that our cats are constantly chewing on. I tried regular scissors but the angle is wrong. That's a huge, stupid job I ask of scissors, especially thin ones that are meant for embroidery. These do! They're sharp and well made, and the angle allows me to trim the fluff that's sticking out of our carpet without hurting my hand. Left handed note: They didn't work very well until I switched to my right hand. i love her now
