Light plastic it a pink light tube. Works best and brightest with a battery pack plug in. It's dim with single batteries put inside. Light weight plastic. Runs battery pac quick so should use a good one battery pac to get hours out of it,. Then charge battery pac plug in for following night. I think it worth is $10.
