Quality Unit - Bathroom Vanity Units

Pros: This dressing table is much better quality than others in this price range. It is mainly made of solid plywood, with beautiful solid wood drawers and some non-structural parts, some in MDF. It has simple built in adjustments so I was able to make some necessary small adjustments to the height/position of the door/drawer to get a high quality, consistent look. The hardware is of good quality and easy to install. The overall appearance of this device would have earned it 5 stars if there weren't a few negatives: The packaging sucks! They literally wrap cardboard around a stack of platters with a tiny amount of waffle-thin crappy dirty foam padding. The box had absolutely no support which fell apart and moved it 10 feet off the porch into my house. Surprisingly, no facial, structural or visible parts are affected, but for God's sake add some support for the box and thicker, stiffer padding. The only other issue is that it requires a moderate amount of woodworking skill to build properly. I had to sand down the slots and some of the dovetails to make sure they fit without tearing the laminate, which was successful. I had to make some new holes where the pre-drilled ones didn't line up and I had to use bolt clamps to pull the drawer pieces all the way together. Wood glue not included. I've used the Gorilla brand, but Tite-Bond or Elmers would work. Bottom line: If you have a little woodworking knowledge, a few basic tools, and a few hours to put it together, you can get a very nice, durable, and functional dressing table for about half the price. comparable pre-assembled product. I would definitely buy again.
