Review on Ruffwear Dirtbag Dog Towel: Aurora Teal Large For Camping & Outdoor Absorption by Victoria Smith

Awesome wearable towel to minimize the mess from a dirty dog! - EXPENSIVE

I'm a Ruffwear fanboy. We bought this for a trip to Pismo where we knew our GRD puppy will get super dirty from the beach. Rather than trying to keep her wrapped up in a towel, we thought this was a pretty cool idea. It will keep our puppy warm and minimize the sand she tracks into our car. We also take her to puppy boarding on a ranch where she often comes back covered in mud. It's the rainy season here. This towel has been awesome and does what we expect it to do. It dries our puppy while keeping the dirt contained. Afterwards, we just toss it into the washer/dryer and it's clean. The interior is a nice soft towel material with a very light harness to keep the towel on. The neck opening is made of stretch fabric. The outer shell is nice as it seems to be water repellant Our dog loves it. This could be used after a bath but we tend to let our puppy air dry. It is expensive for sure. But again you get the functionality and the quality.

Pros
  • Apparel & Accessories
Cons
  • While the Aurora Teal color may be visually appealing, it might not be the most practical choice for outdoor use, as it could easily become visibly dirty or stained
